The Yoga Mission is a charity based in Varanasi, India with educational projects for orphaned and underprivileged children as well as women’s empowerment. The philosophy behind the project is the word education comes the Latin educare which means to bring out. This was taught in ancient times in India through yoga and meditation as part of academic education.
